We operate a 24/7, 365 days a year service, on a rolling 4-week rota pattern to be agreed following a successful interview, providing care to our service users. The role will involve non-clinical support to clinicians and patients who use the NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours service. A degree of flexibility will be required, and there may be the occasional opportunity to work outside of your contracted hours to facilitate the smooth operational running of the service. Our Urgent Care service operates across Wiltshire, with bases in Chippenham, Keynsham, Salisbury and Swindon. You will be expected to undertake a broad range of duties, including periods of prolonged sitting (for example, at a reception desk or in a vehicle), alongside more physically demanding tasks such as moving and carrying emergency equipment and delivering CPR at floor level when required. As part of the role, you must be comfortable working in both clinical and mobile environments, responding to the needs of the service as they arise. Please note that all successful candidates will be required to undertake and pass a drivers medical in line with role requirements.
