Job Overview
The closing date is 19 September 2026 We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD Experience to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Aldershot Medical Centre, in Aldershot, Hampshire. This is a locum role (10.5 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel. PAYE - £60.10 (£53.63 + £6.47 holiday pay) per hour Sole Trader - £69.12 per hour Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel. Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctors scope of experience and qualification. To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a servicepersons ability to undertake their duties. To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department. To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required. Must have a current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the General Medical Councils (GMCs) Good Medical Practice (GMP). Must be in date and able to provide certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training. Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) Experience. Must be on the UK NHS Performers List and provide an NHS Performer number.
